Frequently Asked Questions

  • Most website projects take 4-8 weeks, depending on the scope of the project and how quickly feedback is provided. Before we begin, I'll give you a personalized timeline so you know exactly what to expect from start to finish.

  • I use my signature L.E.M.O.N Framework to build a brand that serves your biz and your customer with authenticity.

L - Learn about your biz.

    E - Explore your positioning.

    M - Muse concepts.

    O - Original creation.

    N - Notify the world.

  • Short answer: Everywhere, but never from one business alone. I look at your industry, your competitors, design history, art, architecture, typography, photography, nature, and current trends. The goal isn't to copy what's popular, it's to create something that's distinctly yours.

Pinterest is great and I use it regularly for inspo, but I also draw inspiration from other places like Dribbble, Instagram, and Behance to make sure your brand stays versatile and unique. I love finding inspiration in real life too, from things like product packaging and signage when traveling.

  • Of course! I'm happy to collaborate with your existing ideas so long as they serve your website strategy well. If you've been saving Pinterest boards, screenshots, or brands you admire, I'd love to see them. They help me understand what you're drawn to while ensuring we create something original that reflects your own business.

  • That's completely normal. Most clients come to me with a vision that's more of a feeling than a finished idea. My job is to ask the right questions, uncover what makes your business unique, and translate that into a clear visual direction. You don't need to have everything figured out before we begin. Through research and experimentation, we can find a direction that fits you and your audience perfectly.

  • Absolutely. In fact, many of my clients come to me because they've outgrown the website they already have. Before we redesign anything, I'll evaluate your current site to identify what's working, what's holding it back, and what should be preserved. If there are elements your audience already recognizes and trusts, we'll build on them rather than starting from scratch.

My website redesigns focus on improving the entire experience, from strategy and content organization to visual design and user experience, so I redesign full websites or pages rather than individual sections.

  • That's okay! That's exactly what the concept phase is for. I don't expect you to fall in love with every idea immediately. I'll ask for honest feedback about what feels right, what doesn't, and why. Together, we'll refine the direction until it feels like a natural fit for your business and your goals.

  • Every website project includes up to 4 revision rounds to refine the selected direction. Most clients only need one or two rounds because so much strategy happens before design begins. If additional revisions are ever needed, we'll discuss them before moving forward.

  • My favorite platform is Wix Studio because it offers powerful design flexibility while remaining easy for business owners to update on their own after launch.

I also happily design websites in Squarespace and Showit, and I have experience working with WordPress and Shopify. If you're unsure which platform is right for you, I'm happy to help you choose based on your goals and budget.

  • Yes. Once your project is complete and your final payment has been made, the website belongs to you. You'll own your content, your design, and your website account. I build websites so you have full control, whether you choose to manage it yourself or continue working with me in the future.

  • No. I don't require ongoing management or maintenance plans. The only recurring costs are the ones charged directly by your website platform, domain registrar, or any third-party services you choose to use. If you'd like ongoing support after launch, I'm always available, but it's completely optional.

  • Definitely. Your website is built to grow with your business. You'll be able to update text, images, and other content yourself, and if you'd rather have a designer handle future updates or add new features, I'm happy to help whenever you need me. Routine changes are billed at my hourly rate, unless you opt for a management package that includes regular changes.

  • Absolutely. Your website is just one piece of your brand. I can also design business cards, brochures, social media graphics, email campaigns, signage, presentations, digital ads, and other marketing materials to keep your business looking consistent wherever your audience finds you.
